Zagreb Deputy Mayor Luka Korlaet said on Tuesday that by 2025 the city will build 14 new schools, relocate one and reconstruct 14 existing schools, which will cost a total of 1.6 billion kuna.

We have 2.7 billion kuna worth of projects prepared until the end of our term for the reconstruction and construction of new kindergartens and elementary and secondary schools, and we plan to apply for EU funds, said Korlaet.

He also spoke about the EU “Owl” project, worth 25 million kuna, involving five city kindergartens that will provide extended working hours for a period of 20 months.

Also, Zagreb Mayor Tomislav Tomasevic said the new city administration spokesperson will be Dinka Zivalj, former Head of Communication/Spokesperson at the European Union Office in Kosovo.
