A total of 19 people passed away due to COVID-19 in Serbia in the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll related to the disease to 6,558, the Health Ministry said on Sunday.

A total of 9,389 people were tested for the virus in Serbia since Saturday and 834 of them were confirmed infected.

There are currently 3,827 COVID-19 patients hospitalised in Serbia, 137 on ventilators.

A total of 700,498 infections were confirmed in the country since the beginning of the pandemic of the 3,929,245 people tested.

Serbia’s COVID-19 death rate is 0.94.
