In the middle of the incumbent European Parliament's term, Croatian MEPs Mislav Kolakusic and Ivan Vilibor Sincic have the lowest percentage of voting for the decisions the Parliament adopted, and the Politico.eu website has put them among the Top 10 Losers.

The website analysed the activities of MEPs over the past two and a half years, grouping them in several categories such as “biggest losers”, “most absent”, “noisiest”, “chattiest”, or “most ignored”.

Kolakusic was proclaimed the biggest loser due to the lowest percentage of voting for EP decisions that were eventually adopted.

He voted with the winning side in only 14.8 percent of votes – the lowest of all members, while voting against all other decisions adopted by a majority.

“Either he’s got a talent for picking the wrong side, or he’s being consistently boxed out,” the website said, calling him a self-described “non-affiliated activist for the rule of law and fighter against corruption.”

Sincic was ranked second in the Top 10 Losers, with 19.3 percent of votes that aligned with the majority in Parliament.
