British Airways will soon have nine flights a week connecting the southern Adriatic city of Split and London Heathrow, two flights a week will start Saturday between Heathrow and the northern Adriatic town of Pula, while 12 new flights are scheduled to be introduced later this month, connecting Heathrow and Dubrovnik.

Following the suspension of coronavirus restrictions in Great Britain, the number of flights of British flag carries to Croatia has significantly increased, the Jutarnji List daily reported on Friday.

British Airways flights connecting London City and Split three times a week were launched on Thursday.

British Airways will introduce new flights between Heathrow, Split and Dubrovnik, but it will not raise the number of flights to Zagreb, namely it will keep five flights per week to Croatia’s capital.

Given the increased number of flights, British Airways will this moth have 31 flights to Croatia with more than 11,000 seats available.

According to the Croatian Aviation portal, the British subsidiary of TUI has confirmed that from the beginning of August, after a break of almost two years, it will reintroduce flights to Croatian airports.

After this well-known travel company suspended regular operations to Croatia in the summer of 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, it is returning in August with regular flights from the UK to three Croatian airports – Dubrovnik, Split and Pula.

Apart from the British airline, additional flights to Croatian airports will also be introduced by German low-budget airline Eurowings.
