In June 2021, about 1.56 million Croatians had jobs, or 1.5 percent up from May 2021, and 2.2 percent up from June 2020. The registered unemployment rate in June was 7.5 percent, state statistics bureau reported on Tuesday.

There were a total of 1,563,484 people in employment in June, meaning that Croatia had added 22,847 jobs compared to May.

According to data provided by the state employment service HZZ, a total of 126,232 job-seekers were registered with the HZZ in June 2021, which is 8.5 percent or 11,798 people down from May 2021, and a decrease of 16.2 percent from June 2020.
