Caritas Croatia raises €333,000 for Ukraine

Caritas Croatia said on Wednesday they have raised 2.5 million kuna (€333k) for victims of the war in Ukraine.

There have been about 44,000 calls to a donation line and Caritas, the largest Catholic charity organization in the country said, and all the proceeds would be sent to Ukraine.

Caritas will continue accepting donations for Ukraine, and they called on people to bring whatever goods they can donate to Caritas warehouses or local church parishes. They also said that the organization is engaged in providing psychological and social assistance to Ukrainian refugees, in cooperation with the Croatian Red Cross and Civil Protection service.
