The average net pay in the city of Zagreb in March 2021 totalled 8,352 kuna (€1,113) which is an increase of 7.5 percent in nominal terms year-on-year, according to a report by Zagreb municipal authorities released on Friday.

Compared with Croatia’s average monthly net salary in March, which was 7,138 kuna (€951), the average net salary in Zagreb was higher by 1,214 kuna (€161) or 17 percent.

By industry, the highest average salary in Zagreb in March, of 14,670 (€1,956) was in telecommunications services.

The average monthly gross salary in Zagreb in March 2021 was 11,615 (€1,548) which is an increase of 5 percent year-on-year.
