The average net monthly salary in Zagreb for September 2021 was 8,205 kuna (€1,095), up 5.5 percent year-on-year, the city said on Monday.

The average net monthly salary in Croatia for September 2021 was 7,108 kuna, or 13 percent lower that the take-home pay in Croatia’s capital.

In Zagreb, the highest average net monthly salary was paid in crude oil and natural gas extraction, at 13,465 kuna, while the lowest was in the manufacture of leather and similar products (4,524 kuna).

The average gross monthly salary in Zagreb for September 2021 amounted to 11,354 kuna, or 3.5 percent up on the year.
