Average net salary in Croatia's capital Zagreb in July 2021 was 8,130 kuna (€1,082) or 5.4 percent up from July 2020, the latest report released by the city administration showed.

This means that the average net salary in Zagreb was 1,084 kuna (€144) higher than the nationwide average of 7,046 kuna (€938).

By industry, the highest average salaries in Zagreb were in oil and natural gas extraction (13,259 kuna, or €1,765) and the lowest were recorded in the leather goods manufacturing (4,412 kuna, or €587).

The average gross salary in Zagreb in the same period was 11,257 (€1,499) or 3.2 percent up year-on-year
