Global Fokus: Klementyna Suchanow on struggle for reproductive rights in Poland

N1

While Poland's government recently moved to block the agreement on the new EU budget and its economic recovery fund, the country itself is experiencing a wave of protests sparked by the new law on abortion which some compare to a resistance movement. In the wake of the largest street protests in Poland's modern history, Klementyna Suchanow, a women's rights activist and writer, talked to N1 Television's Ivana Dragicevic for the Global Fokus global affairs programme.

Suchanow is the author of the book This is War (To jest wojna) and co-founder of the Women’s Strike (Strajk Kobiet) social movement launched in 2016.
