Flag carrier Croatia Airlines announced on Friday it would suspend all international flights serving Croatian cities of Split, Dubrovnik, and Rijeka until further notice, citing regulations imposed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The suspended routes connect these three coastal cities on the Adriatic Sea to Germany’s major cities of Munich and Frankfurt.

The company said that passengers travelling on these flights would be taken to their destinations via Zagreb, allowing health authorities easier access for outbreak control. Passengers will also be allowed to change their flight dates or request a refund if they decide to cancel their trip.

Earlier this week, Croatia Airlines suspended their route to Rome. On Friday, they said there may be more changes to their flight schedule in the days ahead.
