16:08 The first COVID-19 related death in Bosnia occurred on Saturday in the northwestern town of Bihac.

An elderly lady who had chronic health issues passed away before she even got her test results back from the Sarajevo University Clinical Centre, the head of the ‘Irfan Ljubijankic’ hospital, Hajrudin Havic, confirmed to N1.

One more person tested positive for COVID-19 in Bihac on Saturday. 08:38 The town of Konjic has seen its 10th confirmed COVID-19 case on Saturday morning, bringing the total across the country to 90.

The latest case is connected to a party organized by the military industry company ‘Igman’ on March 11th. Several employees of the company had earlier tested positive for the virus.

The number of COVID-19 patients has rapidly risen throughout the past week in Bosnia.

The Federation (FBiH) region recorded 31 cases and the Republika Srpska (RS) region 59.
