Award-winning Slovenian pop and jazz ensemble Perpetuum Jazzile will perform in the Roman Forum of the Adriatic city of Zadar on Monday, August 13.

Perpetuum Jazzile, established under the name of Gaudeamus Chamber Choir in 1983, is the biggest Slovenian vocal group. They have become famous for their a capella cover of Toto’s 1982 hit song Africa, from their 2009 album.

The choir mainly performs a capella, but sometimes they are accompanied by remarkable jazz instrumentalists.

Their repertoire consists of jazz and pop, bossa nova, swing music, gospel, and funk, sung mostly in close harmony style.

More information on the concert can be found on Zadar’s tourism board website.
